Shawshank Redemption

It is one of the best movies of all times. There are so many reviews on this movie, all saying is good movie.
It is an American movie, directed by Frank Darabont, adapted from the story Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption writter by Stephen King .
Starred by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in lead roles. The character played by Robbins is such that he have matured acting with great composure and excellence. While Freeman from his side does what is best for the role.

It is a movie about a prisoner's life and the aspects of life he values. It is a movie about the worth of freedom. How some men aspire freedom more than anything ?
Very good character description, very good screenplay. The pace in which the movie goes is very good. I would say interesting movie without any dramatic element. You won't even see a female character more than a minute ( who knows may be not even that ). On the other hand,  trouble faced by prisoners from the fellow prisoners who are homosexual, have been portrayed well, and this is also a form of sexual harassment.  How this has been encountered by a smart person, is also shown in the movie. It indirectly shows that no crime is worth enough to lose freedom.

"Some birds are not meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright"

This is core idea of the movie, life of such a bird is shown in it. It is my the most favorite.movie.

Fun fact: The photograph of young age of character played by Morgan Freeman is that of his son.
